Hello! Instead of working today, I played with the math for MM rotations. Considering Auto can’t be clipped anymore, unfortunately the rotation is looking pretty boring for standard situations. Keep in mind with the new spec – I may put two points into Rapid Recouperation. Actually I most likely will. So – scratch the one point in Wild Quiver and I’ll take one point from Improved Steady and it will look like this. http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=cxbZceVbRAzMeogziox00b

Anyway, questions, comments, etc. you know what to do. Any comments from people who have already experimented with the Beta are more than welcome.

Edit : Forgot to factor in Multi-shot. But it looks like it will only be worth the mana if you have three targets available. Otherwise, Steady Shot is much more efficient and only does a tiny bit less damage. Correct me if I’m wrong.

  2. It’s too bad that the dev’s reasons for changing Aimed Shot to the patch 3.0.2 form is that they want us to choose between shooting Multi-shot and Aimed Shot depending on whether we are shooting single targets or multiple.

  3. Rilgon – why do you say that? What is the mana regen like on RR? Because if you can RR, then Readiness, then RR again, you wouldn’t even have to switch to Viper if it’s decent regen. You could continue your rotation, since you’d get mana cut for all shots, not just steady. Plus steady still has a chance to proc with two points in it. So overall, with a mix of both, you’d be saving quite a bit of mana on a double RR, or even just one. Do you know something I don’t know? I HATE NOT HAVING BETA! lol

  4. @ Erynn – yeah, it looks like it’s going in that direction. Fine by me, trying to use multi in my normal rotation made me uncomfortable anyway.
